Caracalla, 198-217. As (Copper, 25 mm, 10.88 g, 12 h), Rome, 215. ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM Laureate and cuirassed bust of Caracalla to right, seen from behind. Rev. P M TR P XVIII COS IIII P P / S - C Aesculapius standing facing, leaning right on serpent-entwined staff; to his feet, globe; in left field, Telesphorus standing facing. BMC 295 var. (bust seen from front). Cohen 310. RIC 554c. Beautiful green patina. Slightly rough, otherwise, good very fine.
